Simms offers Alumabite (softer, molds better) and Hardbite (carbide construction, more durable with textured overlays for penetration) cleats.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eStuds are recommended for slippery moss, algae, or slime as they penetrate the material to grip the substrate beneath. They are also the only option for felt outsoles.
